1. The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) has certified two more e-health record (EHR) software products as meeting the commission’s criteria for functionality, interoperability and information security.

CCHIT Certified product certification designates that LSS' C/S MPM 5.5 (SR 2.1) product has been tested against a comprehensive set of functionality, interoperability and security criteria and has passed inspection of 100 percent of the criteria. Full CCHIT Certification includes the provision that the software be in live use at a customer site. Thousands of physicians have licensed the C/S MPM Suite.

6. To "Shorts", are there no players in this market who are working on the business model to provide fully secured data backup and storage? By fully secured I mean bomb-proof, hurricane-proof buildings in multiple locations across the country to store EMR data? Not a new business model. Lots of other data-intensive industries, like credit cards, are doing it.
